Description:

This is a freelance model railroad inspired by life in the late 50's and 60's. The railroad, Marysville and Clear Lake, would, on a point to point line, go between a sugar beet plant (not included) and Marysville. This route was the original concept but was scrapped due to lack of space. The railroad features the town of Marysville, a town with dense scenery and a highly detailed downtown. The next town is much smaller and is the town of Clear Lake, this town is by the naval base which is on the lake, the town has few small cabins and has a small station and a Texaco gas station. The Naval base is down by the lake and has a tough 3 percent grade down too it, CLI tower protects the branch and the main flys on a bridge back to Marysville on the section which would have gone to the sugar beet plant. The Naval base itself is small and has a runway and boat ramp, there is a brick transload building where shipments go in and out. the bridge goes back into Marysville where is goes across main street and passes the tunnel that goes to staging.
